Job Summary

A boring mill operator job involves setting up, operating, and maintaining boring mills to perform precision machining operations, ensuring accurate dimensions and tolerances in metal or plastic components. These tradesmen are qualified lathe turners or machinists.Requirements/Qualifications:Relevant technical qualification essentialPrevious experience in the same role Good technical, numeracy and engineering experience requiredMachining of pump components to drawing specifications and tolerancesMust be able to operate vertical (Webster & Bennet) and Horizontal boring millMust have experience machining pump componentsMust have previous pump experienceMust be able to work without supervision6Must be able to do self-inspections and work to tight tolerancesMachining of split pumps, will be an advantageMust have own transportMust be willing to work overtimeMust be able to work centre lathesSalary is up to R50k pm depending on knowledge and experience.Please email CV to
