Job Description
An established manufacturing company in the FMCG sector is seeking a skilled ISO Compliance Officer to oversee and maintain their quality and food safety systems in Elandsfontein, Gauteng.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to ISO 22000 and ISO 9001:2015 standards, coordinating internal and external audits, and training staff on relevant compliance and quality protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve ISO 22000 and ISO 9001:2015 systems.
- Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits.
- Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, SOPs, and food safety regulations.
- Deliver training sessions to staff on food safety, quality systems, and compliance protocols.
- Monitor and document quality metrics and prepare regular reports.
- Identify gaps and implement continuous improvement processes within the quality system.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of working with ISO 22000 and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Hands-on experience with audits and CAPA processes.
- Training delivery and staff engagement in quality/compliance topics.
- Diploma or Degree in Quality, Food Science, or a related field.
- Lead Auditor Certification (essential).
