A Matric Qualification.
Relevant Degree / Diploma in Agriculture will be an advantage.
5 years relevant Broiler experience managing a large Poultry Production environment.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise in operating environment-controlled broiler sheds, and implementing the best management practices to achieve the best Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) and shortest possible growth cycle. This role is entirely focused on growing and managing birds, ensuring optimal conditions for their health and performance.
Broiler Growth & Performance Management:
Oversee the entire broiler cycle from chick placement to harvest.
Minimize feed wastage and control costs without compromising bird health.
Equipment & Facility Management:
Ensure all broiler houses, feeders, drinkers, and ventilation systems are in excellent working condition.
Conduct regular checks and preventive maintenance of farm equipment.
Troubleshoot and rectify technical issues affecting the bird-growing environment.
