Job Summary

Role Overview:As a Broker Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting brokers by assisting with the administration of life, short-term, and investment products. Your main responsibilities will include managing client documentation, processing claims, handling policy changes, and maintaining efficient filing systems. You will ensure the smooth operation of the brokerage and contribute to building strong client relationships.Key Responsibilities:1. Life & Investments Request quotations, prepare compliance documents, and submit applications. Follow up on requirements, download statements, and manage claims. Handle policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and broker appointments. Maintain filing systems for life and investment products.2. Group Life & Annuities Process beneficiary changes, life, and income protection claims. Prepare compliance documents and maintain filing systems.3. Short-Term Administration Prepare compliance documents and manage claims, adjustments, renewals, and cancellations. Handle unpaid debit orders, cover confirmations, and broker appointments. Maintain filing systems for short-term products.4. General & Ad Hoc Tasks Assist with general tasks, HR coordination, reporting, phone calls, and reception duties.Skills & Competencies:- Strong organisational and communication skills.- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines under pressure.- Professionalism and high attention to detail in all tasks.- Proactive approach with a willingness to learn.- Ability to work well within a team environment.Requirements:* Minimum of 2-3 years in a brokerage environment handling short-term, life, and investment products.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite* Fully bilingual* Grade 12 Certificate * Valid Drivers License.* Strong organisational and communication skills.* Ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.* Professional approach to client interactions and team collaboration.Apply on this link
