Job Description
Develop creative assets for digital, print and video media, ensuring consistency, aesthetic appeal and alignment with the company’s visual identity and strategic goals.
Branding & Identity: Develop and maintain logos, typography, colour palettes and brand guidelines.
Marketing & Advertising: Design print and digital assets for campaigns, social media and promotions.
Print & Digital Design: Create brochures, flyers, business cards and other marketing materials required both for print and digital distribution.
Website Content: Design website graphics, banners and layouts for WordPress sites.
Video Production: Edit and create promotional videos and branded content.
Software & Technical Skills: Use Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software and other online editing tools to produce high-quality work.
Designer for all the brands creative needs, including:
- Social media images
- Banners for tourism Update and SharePoint
- Email signatures
- Creative work for newsletters, websites and more
Working closely with the Marketing and Creative Team Manager as well as brand marketers to ensure that briefs are followed
Working with design software like Adobe Suite, among others including Canva and online tools
Upskilling through tutorials, webinars and online courses
Able to incorporate AI into projects, using programs such as Gamma, Claude/ChatGPT, and AI features in Adobe.
Learning and development:
Keep abreast of industry trends
Complete new courses to keep up to date on design programs and their features
Requirements:
Matric/Grade 12
At least 3 years’ experience
Graphic design tertiary qualification
Graphic design experience with a portfolio to review
Proficient in Adobe Suite
Competency
Ability to come up with creative concepts
Ability to work long hours required for specific events
A mature approach when dealing with people
Ability to work in a team and work independently
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Good problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
Ability to come up with creative concepts
Working knowledge of video editing software
