Live-Out Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join a luxury hotel in Cape Town. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about maintaining exceptional cleanliness, luxury standards, and smooth day-to-day operations. ? What youll be doing: Maintain guest rooms and public areas to the highest luxury standards Supervise daily housekeeping operations, staff schedules, and workflow Recruit; train, and mentor housekeeping staff to achieve high performance Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements Ensure compliance with SOPs, health, safety, and hygiene standards Manage inventory, supplies, and budget efficiently Promote sustainable housekeeping practices Report maintenance issues and uphold property standards at all times ? What youll need: Minimum 2 years experience as Assistant Housekeeping Manager or similar in luxury hospitality Strong leadership and team management skills Exceptional attention to detail and proactive approach Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of SOPs, luxury standards, and health & safety regulations Proficient in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Excellent verbal English communication and professional presentation ?
