Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Execute and maintain financial reporting systems and processes Produce monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements and reports Examine financial data identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities Perform detailed financial analysis, to support business decisions and planning Conduct budget and forecast processes, certify alignment with company`s strategic goals Track and control expenditures, ensure alignment with budgets and profitability Track key financial metrics and give insight to improve business performance Liaise with departments heads to certify financial alignment with business objectives Certify compliance with accounting standards, tax and other regulations, and internal controls Perform financial audits and give recommendations for improving processes Prepare business cases for investment projects Develop and maintain internal controls to secure company assets
Requirements:
Qualification: CIMA or CA(SA) preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management, within distribution or logistics industry Previous experience as a Business Controller or a similar role Knowledge of financial analysis, budgets, and forecasting Please note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
