About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to lead one of our high-end Retail Boutiques in Cape Town City Centre, specifically at Canal Walk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth, elevating customer experience, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily Boutique operations
- Store Operations Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service
- Monitor and drive daily sales performance and profitability
- Manage inventory, ordering, and loss prevention
- Handle cash reconciliation, reporting, and store administration
- Develop and grow Corporate Sales opportunities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and product safety
- Open and close the Boutique according to operational requirements
- Submit monthly reports to Head Office Marketing & Brand Execution
- Identify and implement local marketing initiatives
- Support national marketing campaigns
- Ensure compliance with pricing and merchandising standards
- Maintain premium in-store presentation aligned to brand guidelines
Requirements
- 2–4 years’ retail management experience
- Tertiary qualification preferred
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Experience in a premium retail environment advantageous
