Job Summary

Innovate, Transform, Excel: Your Next Role as a BI Developer Awaits! Are you a forward-thinking collaborator with a fervent desire to craft and manage diverse database systems? You will propel organizational growth and success by designing, developing, and upholding sophisticated business intelligence solutions that transmute raw data into actionable knowledge. Your crucial role will also encompass the effective administration, upkeep, safeguarding, and performance enhancement of our essential data infrastructure. What Youll Be Crafting: Construct, architect, and implement cutting-edge data ecosystems, data repositories, and intelligence platforms (including interactive dashboards and comprehensive reports). Develop and sustain robust data integration packages to extract, transform, and load information from disparate origins. Oversee, sustain, and refine database performance, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and issue resolution. Execute intricate SQL queries: design, code, test, and aggregate results to conduct profound analysis and generate invaluable insights. Partner with interdepartmental teams to seamlessly integrate data solutions. Drive ongoing enhancements in reporting and analytical methodologies. Administer database servers, ensuring meticulous maintenance, data quality, integrity, and robust security protocols. Implement and uphold strategies for high availability and disaster recovery, such as clustering, replication, and failover mechanisms. Your Toolkit of Talents: A relevant tertiary qualification in computing, information technology, business intelligence, or a related discipline. Formal credentials in database management or equivalent expertise. At least three years of professional experience in an analogous capacity. Prior involvement in designing data repositories and conducting business analysis. A comprehensive grasp of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), and extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) workflows. Adept at conveying insights through compelling reports and visual representations. Proficiency across a suite of Microsoft data tools, including SQL Server, Power BI, DAX, T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS. Familiarity with distributed cloud database solutions (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS) is a definite plus. Prior exposure to fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or retail sectors is beneficial. Exceptional capabilities in identifying and resolving complex issues. Highly analytical with a meticulous eye for detail. Possesses a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Strong understanding of commercial operations and a keen sense of priority. Capable of working autonomously and managing ones own tasks effectively.
