About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Conveyancing Assistant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the conveyancing process, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading Security & Compliance documents onto Legal Suite for FNB, Mercantile Bank & RNB
- Attending to deliveries for all three banks, including Investec
- Responding to queries linked to turn around times
- Opening of client files for all these banks
- Preparing compliance packs for the banks
- Check list for payments and attending to receipting
- Making payments via AJS
- Uploading FICA documents on E-Vault
- Liaising with transferring attorneys
- Delivering deeds
- Effectively diarizing and administering various procedures
Requirements
- Matric Qualification
- Diploma in Conveyancing (advantageous)
- Good telephone manner
- Basic understanding of the conveyancing process
- Relevant working experience of 2 years in similar role
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications in Conveyancing (if applicable)
