Future Careers is seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager for a leading fashion brand based in Cape Town. This is on a 2-year fixed-term contract. The role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the brands end-to-end e-commerce business, driving commercial performance, growth, and digital customer experience. The successful candidate will oversee sales, marketing, merchandising, and content creation, working cross-functionally to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and achievement of key business targets. Job Description: Lead the end-to-end e-commerce business, driving commercial performance, growth, and digital customer experience through strategic planning and execution. Own online revenue targets, analyse performance metrics, and implement initiatives to achieve business growth. Oversee daily website operations, user experience, and feature enhancements. Align with planning teams on stock, product launches, and campaign readiness; ensure all content meets brand and platform standards. Develop and execute campaign calendars, coordinate CRM and paid media activities, and ensure integrated marketing messaging. Manage order flow, fulfilment, returns, and continuously improve the online customer experience. Lead cross-functional collaboration, aligning internal teams and external partners on priorities, deadlines, and business objectives. Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with internal governance processes. Drive growth projects, including strategic initiatives, platform enhancements, and e-commerce innovation. Deliver key operational and strategic outputs such as growth plans, campaign calendars, website optimization roadmaps, product launch readiness checklists, and post-campaign reviews. Education & Experience: Relevant tertiary qualification. Minimum 5 years of experience in the e-commerce domain, preferably within retail, fashion, or a related sector. Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability, with proven experience driving online business growth. Solid knowledge of e-commerce operations, retailing, merchandising, and promotion planning. Advanced proficiency in GA4, Shopify, CRM platforms, and Excel; well-versed in MS Office tools. Excellent planning, organization, prioritization, and ability to manage complex workflows under pressure. High execution ability with attention to detail, strategic problem-solving, and innovation mindset. Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and stakeholder engagement, including building strong relationships with commercial teams and external e-commerce partners. Partner-centric with strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach. Ability to drive results, multi-task across internal and external teams, and deliver on business objectives.
