About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our solar PV systems design and engineering team, you will assist with the development of commercial and utility-scale solar PV projects, supporting site assessments, feasibility studies, and system layouts. You will also provide technical documentation, drawings, and reports, as well as engineering support during installation, commissioning, and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the design and engineering of solar PV systems (commercial & utility-scale)
- Support site assessments, feasibility studies, and system layouts
- Provide technical documentation, drawings, and reports
- Offer engineering support during installation, commissioning, and handover
- Liaise with project teams, contractors, and suppliers
- Travel to project sites in Zambia as required
Requirements
- BEng / BSc / BTech in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or similar
- 02 years experience in solar PV or renewable energy (internship experience welcome)
- Basic understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, and grid connections
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Willingness to travel internationally (valid passport required)
