About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Locum Anaesthetist to provide anaesthetic services for maxillofacial and dental theatre lists, including paediatric cases. As a Locum Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for administering general anaesthesia to adults and children, providing full perioperative care, and working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer general anaesthesia to adults and children
  • Provide full perioperative care (pre-, intra- and post-operative)
  • Work independently where required
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

  • MBChB qualification
  • DA(SA) Diploma in Anaesthesia from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa
  • Current active registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
  • Experience in paediatric anaesthesia
  • Minimum 1 years experience in maxillofacial and dental anaesthesia
