Cape Town City Centre: Maintenance Professional (Millwright / Industrial Electrician)

Key Responsibilities Perform all-round mechanical and electrical maintenance on production machinery. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures efficiently. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance. Work with conveyors, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, relays, and frequency switches. Assist with welding (stainless steel/Alu) and light fabrication where required. Support continuous improvement initiatives on production lines. Adhere to strict safety and quality standards. Participate in shift-based operations and be available for overtime where needed. Requirements RED SEAL Trade Test, N5 or N6 Millwright / Industrial Electrician. Fluent in Afrikaans & English (essential, due to transition into Dutch). 2–4 years’ relevant experience in mechanical & electrical maintenance. Strong knowledge of troubleshooting in high-volume production environments. Exposure to Siemens PLC systems is advantageous. Valid driver’s licence and passport . Willing to work in shifts. Benefits Salary: ± €4,100 gross/month. 25 paid holidays potential ADV days. 8.33% holiday allowance (paid in May annually). Overtime & shift allowance paid separately. Relocation support provided.
