Cape Town City Centre: Physical Sciences Educator (School post)

A traditional English co-ed school boasting some 1500 learners and a staff complement of over 80 educators in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is looking to urgently fill a Physical Sciences Educator (School post). The candidate: Must be suitably qualified, dynamic and enthusiastic Physical Sciences Educator. To start January 2026. Experience teaching to Grade 12 is essential. Prior teaching experience is essential. Requirements: A BSc, BComm or other relevant qualification (post graduate studies in a related field). Qualified to teach in the FET phase (Grades 10 – 12). At least 2 year’s recent experience of teaching up to Matric level. Proven record (recent QA5) of teaching excellence (CAPS) and the use of effective, innovative teaching strategies, including the use of computer technology within the classroom. Commitment to and embodiment of the school’s core values of Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence. Active involvement in the school extra-mural programme, with high awareness of and commitment to the holistic development of learners. A demonstrated commitment to life-long learning and personal professional development. Recommendation: Highly regarded subject expert, with experience of marking NSC Physical Sciences papers.
