About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of South African Electricians to work in Amersfoort, Netherlands. The successful candidates will be responsible for the availability of electrical installations, including medium-voltage (10kV) systems, power and lighting distribution systems, as well as instrumentation and control technology (Siemens PCS7 system). Visa and sponsorship assistance are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Involved in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications, and overhaul tasks
- Performing periodic inspections on systems, components, and tools
- Assessing the maintenance condition based on checklists and personal judgment
- Performing corrective maintenance resulting from inspections at scheduled times
- Acting as a supervisor for part of the installation during maintenance shutdowns, directing and guiding contractors work and ensuring safety, quality, and progress
- Troubleshooting systems and components based on notifications or work orders
- Assessing the nature, severity, and extent of faults and determining whether immediate repair is necessary or possible
- Proposing improvements to enhance technical conditions and creating technical drawings
- Installing/connecting measurement and control systems and programming components
- Keeping documentation and drawing files up to date
- Acting as the person responsible for safe work operations, switching in cabinets, and securing the installation.
Requirements
- Matric / N4
- Electrical Trade Test
- N1 N6 highly advantageous
- South African Drivers License
- Completed 3 year apprenticeship
- Fluently speaking Afrikaans is mandatory
- Experience for any industry
- Familiarity with office software such as MS Office and SAP
- Basic knowledge of the German language is advantageous

- R880k – R1.1mil per annum, monthly rand conversion (R73k – R86k)
