Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and SACPCMP Registered Professional Construction Manager to join our clients team for an urgent position based in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing large-scale construction projects from inception through to completion, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and budget control. This is an immediate vacancy, and we are looking for someone who can start right away. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the construction process, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Manage and supervise all aspects of the construction site, including staff, subcontractors, and materials. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and other legal requirements. Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or delays that arise during construction. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met. Provide leadership and direction to the construction team, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and professionalism. Maintain detailed records of project progress, expenses, and any necessary documentation. Assist with the preparation of tender submissions, project planning, and budgeting. Key Requirements: SACPCMP (South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Profession) registration as a Professional Construction Manager. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record in handling medium to large-scale projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal requirements in South Africa. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams. A valid drivers license and own transport are essential. Preferred Qualifications: A degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field. Experience with construction software or project management tools.
