Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Design fire safety and fire compliance solutions, including firefighting equipment, smoke evacuation systems, stair pressurization systems, and fire sprinkler systems. Manage small and medium projects with minimal guidance and contribute to large projects within a fire design management team. Attend client meetings, site inspections, and surveys, representing the company in a professional manner. Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and project management administration.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical building services. Minimum 5 years experience in SANS deemed-to-satisfy and rational fire safety design. Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel . Experience in thermal modeling is advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be either ECSA-registered or actively pursuing registration . Qualification: BTech/BEng in Mechanical Engineering
