About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to contribute to the design and delivery of civil engineering infrastructure projects in Cape Town City Centre. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil infrastructure design principles, excellent technical and analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients and teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and tender documentation
- Collaborating with senior engineers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to develop practical design solutions
- Undertaking site inspections and supporting construction monitoring to ensure design compliance
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant municipal, statutory, and industry standards
- Supporting end-to-end project delivery across multiple project stages
Requirements
- Minimum 35 years experience in a civil engineering consulting environment
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Strong foundation in civil infrastructure design principles
- Excellent technical, analytical, and report-writing skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with clients and teams
Qualifications
BTech/ BEng / BSc in Civil Engineering
