Cape Town City Centre: Senior Technical Accounting Manager (Digital Assets)

Youll lead a Cape Town-based accounting team of more than 10 people, ranging from juniors to qualified professionals, and youll be the go-to person for technical accounting. Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop an accounting team of 10, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality client deliverables. Review and sign off on financial statements, reconciliations, and related technical output. Redesign and improve internal accounting processes, systems adoption, and workflow efficiency. Interpret large datasets and blockchain-based financial information, ensuring proper integration and accurate reporting across multiple clients. Build reporting frameworks, strengthen controls, and standardize accounting processes across teams. Job Experience and Skills Required: CA(SA) or equivalent professional accounting qualification (essential). At least 5 years post-articles experience, ideally in a Financial Controller / Finance Manager role. Solid background in digital assets, crypto, blockchain, or similar high-data technical environments. Proven experience preparing and reviewing financial statements involving crypto transactions. Strong track record managing and mentoring accounting teams. Experience working with multi-entity and multi-client ERP setups. Advanced proficiency with digital asset accounting tools (e.g. Cryptio, Tres, and Entendre). Strong understanding of ERP systems and systems integration. High technical accuracy, strong analytical ability, and confidence handling large datasets. Must have direct experience with crypto transactions and digital-asset technical accounting. Apply Now!
