Job Description

Job Title: Structural Draughtsman – Cape Town City Centre

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Draughtsman to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and updating 2D and 3D structural drawings using Autodesk Revit, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Create and update 2D and 3D structural drawings using Autodesk Revit
Ensure accurate representation of model foundations, beams, columns, slabs, walls, reinforcement, and steel connections
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and junior draughtsmen to ensure high-quality output
Review and mentor the work of junior team members to maintain quality standards

Requirements:
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit
Strong understanding of RC, steel, masonry, and hybrid systems
Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural plans
Keen attention to detail and excellent teamwork and time management skills
Experience with professional quality management systems is a plus

Qualifications:
National Diploma or equivalent in Draughting (structural focus preferred)
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered
