Cape Town City Centre: Supply Chain Data Modelling Analyst

Key Responsibilities: Develop analytical models to optimise supply chain performance. Analyse supply chain and logistics data to identify inefficiencies, cost drivers, and opportunities for improvement. Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, planning, logistics, buying, and operations) to ensure that data insights translate into tangible business results. Continuously evaluate and improve data models. Job Experience and Skills Required: Bachelors Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related analytical field. 3 years experience in a data analytics or supply chain analysis role within a fast-moving retail or logistics environment. Strong experience with SAS, Python, or R for data. Advanced Excel and Power BI. Experience building inventory simulation models. Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations – from procurement through distribution. Analytical thinking, commercial awareness, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate data into business impact.
