Job Summary
Requirements:
- A Higher Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is required
- 3-5 years of experience in 3D modelling using Solidworks is critical.
- Sheet Metal Experience is critical.
- Knowledge of the laser-cutting process.
- Understanding welding, fastener best practices, powder coating, and sealing is critical.
- Electrical and P&ID experience is a bonus.
- Experience with SolidWorks Visualize or similar rendering software is a bonus.
- Experience using PDM is a bonus.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Skilled use of Google Suite & Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities:
- Produce efficient, high-quality 3D model
- You will be required to create and manage
- Technical and instructional 2D Assembly drawings
- Flat pattern drawings
- BOMs (Bills of Materials)
- Ensure tasks meet deadlines.
- Liaise with production to improve existing products.
- Ensure all drawings comply with office standards Take ownership and responsibility for projects.
- Maintain a logical filing system Generate Standard Operating Procedures.
- Action Engineering Change Requests on existing products.
