Job Summary
A leading Cape Town based engineering consultancy specializing in predominantly Industrial projects is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical/Instrument Design Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and preparing Fee Proposals
- Performing Detailed Engineering Design and Specifications
- Developing Schedules of Quantities
- Creating Tender Documentation and participating in Tender Adjudication
- Handling Contract Documentation
- Project Management, including cost control, payment certificates, project scheduling, and recording of minutes
- Testing and Commissioning
- Creating As-built documentation and drawings
- Conducting initial audits to ascertain the Scope of work
Requirements
- Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng in Electrical or equivalent
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical design and drafting
- Experience using MS Project for project scheduling
- Minimum of 10 years` experience in electrical/instrumentation design
- Experience in Waste Water Treatment Works, Petrochemical and the Food Industry are highly desirable
Benefits
Salary:
R750K/yr – R1M/yr, negotiable
