About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join their team as an External Sales Representative in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and achieving sales targets in the Western Cape region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve sales targets and revenue goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Western Cape region
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers
- Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts on a regular basis
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors to effectively position our products in the market
- Attend industry events, tradeshows, and customer meetings as required
Requirements
A Technical Qualification and 3+ years of proven sales experience in a technical field
Must have a valid drivers license
Must be willing to travel
Knowledge of the abrasive industry would be an advantage
Fully Bilingual in Afrikaans and English (Verbal and Written)
Live within a 20-30 km radius of Cape Town
CRM Management, Call Planning, and Sales Reporting
Strong Negotiation Skills
Must be MS Office literate (Intermediate to Advanced)
Resilient, resourceful personality/character
Conflict management
Strong business acumen
Entrepreneurial flair with excellent time management skills
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications mentioned.
