About the Role

As a Duty Manager at Craven Cottage CC, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our F&B outlets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving revenue growth through effective management techniques. You will work closely with various departments to maintain high standards of service, safety, and security, while continuously improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling of associates and allocation of duties to maximise associate productivity and minimise payroll costs
  • Lead and create a work environment that is high in employee morale and provides constant learning & development
  • Develop systems and procedures that achieve higher cost efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Maintain the logbook and effective follow-up system, check daily arrival lists, and monitor VIP movements
  • Ensure guests have a pleasant stay by supervising room allocations, smooth check-in & check-out, and special requirements
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure security, hygiene, and aesthetic standards are met
  • Act as a ‘One Point Contact’ for guests and interact with them to solicit feedback
  • Prepare reports on Occupancy, Average rates, Reservations etc.
  • Monitor daily performance and manage revenue through revenue and yield management techniques
  • Liaise with restaurant managers about availability and upselling at the front desk
  • Promote F&B restaurants to resident guests
  • Assist restaurant managers with complaints or queries related to F&B services
  • Stay self-informed on city activities and establish close contacts with people in these areas to provide information
  • Ensure prompt, efficient, and accurate service to all guests through regular monitoring of GSTS and feedback
  • Maintain the Guest History Tracking System and update guest profiles
  • Monitor business of competition hotels and ensure operational standards are followed
  • Coordinate operations with Club Floor, Concierge, Travel Desk or other sub-departments
  • Ensure safety and security norms, procedures, and systems for guest belongings
  • Maintain regular contacts with corporate and individual customers to build strong relationships
  • Assist in Front Office Operation/Systems as required
  • Work in a safe manner that does not harm or injure self or others
  • Involved with Health & Safety within the department, ensuring compliance and directives are carried out
  • Anticipate possible hazards and conditions and correct them or prevent them from happening
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, appearance, body language, and conduct
