Job Summary
Hire Resolves client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and ensuring the financial health and success of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to ensure the long-term financial stability of the company
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Analyse financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for the company`s operations
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proven leadership and team management abilities

Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Submit monthly EMP201 (PAYE/UIF/SDL) returns to SARS
- Prepare monthly Management Accounts and Analysis for review by directors

- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to improve financial performance and meet the company`s goals and objectives.
- Manage and coordinate all financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis to support business decision-making.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly financial statements, budgets, cash flow, and variance analysis.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Manage the company`s relationship with banks, auditors, tax advisors, and other financial institutions.
- Monitor and manage working capital requirements, liquidity, and cash flow to optimize financial performance.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support on operational and strategic initiatives.
- Stay up to date with changes in financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws to ensure compliance and identify potential risks or opportunities.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
Requirements:
- B.Com with CA qualification Or B. Com with Financial Management experience
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Financial Manager or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and reporting standards (IFRS).
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial statement analysis.
- Proficiency in financial planning and analysis software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights for decision making
- Solid experience in managing accounting operations and financial controls.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial planning and budgeting process, ensuring accurate forecasting and monitoring financial performance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, analyzing results and providing insights to senior management.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to optimize internal controls and compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and manage financial models and forecasts, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, implementing effective cash management strategies and forecasting future cash needs.
- Monitor and report on financial performance indicators, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency enhancements.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and minimizing tax liabilities.
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits.
- Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards, ensuring ongoing compliance and recommending adjustments as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A professional certification such as CPA or CFA is preferred.

Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to ensure the company`s long-term financial Monitor and analyze financial performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and forecasts for management and Manage the company`s budgeting process, including the development and monitoring of annual budgets
- Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments to support business decision-making and planning.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Oversee the company`s cash flow management, including the monitoring of cash balances, investment activities, and the maintenance of banking relationships.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support, including assisting with pricing strategies and cost management.
- Supervise a team of financial professionals, providing coaching and professional development opportunities as needed.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in financial regulations to ensure the company`s compliance and competitiveness.
Requirements:

BCom Hons / CIMA / ACCA / CASA

A driven individual with a proven track record of successfully managing the finance function
and leading a strong team. -
5-10 years of experience as a Financial Manger

Automotive industry experience will be advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
