About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a hardworking and skilled Gardener to join a luxury estate based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the estates gardens and outdoor spaces to an exceptional standard, ensuring a beautiful and well-presented environment throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
- General garden maintenance, including mowing, pruning, watering, and planting
- Maintaining flower beds, lawns, and landscaped areas
- Identifying and treating plant pests or diseases
- Seasonal planting and upkeep of greenery
- Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment
- Assisting with outdoor estate upkeep as required
- Ensuring all areas are kept neat, tidy, and visually appealing
Requirements
- Relevant experience in garden maintenance or a related field
- Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of horticulture and plant care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
