Hire Resolves client in the Supply Chain industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an Housekeeping Manager in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
• Manage and train housekeeping staff.
• Ensure that all areas of the property are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Order and maintain cleaning supplies.
• Manage the housekeeping budget.
• Handle guest requests and complaints.
• Inspect rooms and other areas to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a housekeeping or related role.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
• Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.  
• Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
• Ability to manage a budget.
• Ability to handle guest requests and complaints.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
