About the Role
Datafin, a leading cloud Contact Center and CRM solutions provider in Southern Africa, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and expand its cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform proactive PROBLEM management for recurring or known issues
- Troubleshoot and incident resolve for tickets escalated by 1st Line Engineers
- Execute system backups, perform system performance monitoring, and manage infrastructure maintenance
- Assist in the planning, testing, and execution of new builds/upgrades/updates/moves and changes to the infrastructure
- Provide second-line support for infrastructure-related issues
Requirements
- National Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent Degree/Diploma
- Microsoft Server Certification (2012 R2, 2016 and 2019 Administrator)
- Linux Certification (Linux Certified Professional or similar)
