About the Role:

To select and schedule the stations onair product in line with the station strategy

Minimum 3 years experience as a radio station compiler/programming

Qualification in broadcast/media or related field or equivalent experience

Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Analytical mind with focus on improvement

Good understanding of the radio process

Work at a fast-everchanging pace independently and within a team

Continually learning

Deadline driven and work under tight time constraints

Computer literacy

MS office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of South African broadcasting legislation

Knowledge of music trends and industry stakeholders

Problem solving skills

Proficiency with RCS G-Selector or similar

Proficiency with RCS Zetta or similar

Exceptional organisational and attention to detail skills

Strong research skills

Good at multi-tasking

Works well under pressure

Knowledge of sound mixing and editing

Good time management

Meticulous attention to detail in scheduling the stations sound in line with strategy

Manage and analyse rotations monthly

Manage and implement the audio architecture

Manage and implement specialist music programming

Analyse and report on regulatory compliance
