SUMMARY

Responsible for effectively and efficiently performing Nail Care Services that exceed clients Expectations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Qualified in Acrylic, Poly Gel and Gel Courses

EXPERIENCE

• Familiar with all duties and procedures in the Spa/Wellness Centre
• 1 Year experience working as a Nail Technician

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Possess working Knowledge of Acrylic, Poly Gel, Gel Dip and Gel systems
• Must be able to perform Manicures and Pedicures
• Have knowledge on Medi Peel, callus removals and Paraffin Dips treatments
• Must have strong communication skills to explain various treatments/services to clients as well as educate them about retail offerings.
• Ability to manage time effectively with good organisational skills
• Build a customer universe
• Pro-active mind set and be a team player
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
• Goal-oriented

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

TREATMENTS AND EQUIPMENT:

• Perform Basic and advanced Manicure and Pedicure services to Guests
• Perform all Nail treatments including but not limited to Acrylic, Poly gel, Dip Gel and Gel to Clients
• Be able to perform Nail Art services to Guests
• Must be skilled and trained in operating the following tools: nippers, files, buffers, cuticle removers, polishes, acetone, foot file, lotions, scrubs, hot cabbie, and paraffin heater; to successfully perform their duties
• Ensure the sanitary of all equipment, cleaning and disinfecting of all tools on a daily basis
• Maintain and increase knowledge of nail care for both hands and feet and possess a complete knowledge of all spa services offered

ADMINISTRATION:

• Accurately document treatment notes and maintain client cards
• Attend scheduled meetings and professional training
• Safeguard customer experience and report any incidents or accidents to a member of the management team.
• Begin and end all treatments within scheduled timeframe, as well as recommend product for home use or self-care

CROSS-SERVICE

• ?Hosting of guests
• ?Rooming of guests
• ?Refreshing rooms
• ?Basic housekeeping

SALES AND MARKETING:

• Work towards the actualization of spa sales goals by selling appropriate products and services to clients and guests
• Promote other spa/salon services by suggesting to guests’ other beneficial treatments offered by the spa

INVENTORY AND SUPPLIES:

• Maintain inventory and informing the Spa Manager or Supervisor about product needs in a timely manner

PROMOTION:

• Promoting of oneself to increase revenue and build returning clientele
• Promote other spa/salon services by suggesting to guests’ other beneficial treatments offered by the spa
• Exhibit a professional and well-groomed appearance while on duty.
