About the Role

Are you meticulous with numbers, detail-driven, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences? We’re seeking a Night Auditor to join a highly reputable Hotel Group in a vital role that blends financial accuracy with outstanding hospitality service. If you thrive on balancing the books while also creating a welcoming environment for guests, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall revenue control by conducting daily audits to ensure all revenue is accounted for.
  • Answer guest calls, attend to face-to-face queries, and manage reservations during night shifts.
  • Maintain records and filing systems, serving as a central point of information and assistance for guests.
  • Assist with guest check-outs, process final payments, and ensure a smooth and pleasant farewell experience.
  • Verify accuracy of room charges, audit all daily revenue reports, and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Audit, reconcile, and balance daily financial activities while assisting with reservation enquiries as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute revenue reports to stakeholders, balancing totals for cash and credit cards, and running end-of-day reports.
  • Perform front desk operations, including handling emergency procedures when required.

Requirements

  • Hospitality qualification or equivalent, with 35 years experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar front office role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls and operational processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office with an aptitude for numbers and systems.
  • Ability to capture, interpret, and interrogate data with accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), adaptability, and reliability.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and composure under pressure.
