About the Role
An established manufacturing company is seeking a Primary Cleaner to join their production team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all machines, equipment, and production areas in accordance with cGMP and Health & Safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize machine parts, production bays, and surrounding areas.
- Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the production facility.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP and Health & Safety requirements.
- Conduct weekly stock checks and assist with inventory control of cleaning materials.
Requirements
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
- Knowledge and understanding of Quality Systems (advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Reliable, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification (essential).
