About the Role

Join a manufacturing team as an Automation Technician in the Western Cape! In this role, you will provide technical support for agricultural automation products, ensuring reliable performance and efficient on-site operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the installation and commissioning of automation and irrigation systems
  • Assembling controllers, base stations, and electrical cabinets
  • Troubleshooting controller hardware and software, including PLCs
  • Providing on-site technical support
  • Assisting with product training

Requirements

  • Qualified Electrician with a Trade Certificate
  • 3 years of relevant technical experience
  • National Diploma, BTech, or Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics (advantageous)

Qualifications

  • Valid drivers licence and passport
  • Knowledge of ELV electrical systems, VSD and PLC systems, computer hardware, hydraulics or flow dynamics, and AutoCAD or Inventor (beneficial)
