We are a Pan-African lifestyle brand known for providing exceptional hospitality experience, and we are looking for an experienced Barman to ensure smooth operations of the bar and deliver an exceptional experience to our guest. Key Responsibilities include: • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop the drink menu, focusing on creativity and quality offerings. • Inventory & Cost Control: Manage the bar’s inventory, ensuring cost control, and tracking supplies effectively. • Sales Campaigns: Work with the Restaurant Manager to implement sales campaigns to boost beverage sales. • Cocktail & Drink Creation : Create new, innovative cocktails while keeping up-to-date with trends in the industry. • Guest Engagement : Build rapport with customers by offering tailored drink recommendations, enhancing their overall experience. • Bar Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar area. • Cash Management: Handle cash, process payments, and ensure a balanced till throughout your shift. • Teamwork: Support colleagues to ensure smooth service and exceptional guest satisfaction. Qualifications and Competencies required: • Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience as a Barman or in a similar role in a hotel environment. • Creativity & Passion : A strong creative mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences with drinks. • Extensive Drink Knowledge : In-depth knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options. • Communication Skills Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers, offering tailored drink suggestions. • Bar Management : Ability to manage the bar’s organization and ensure efficient operations. • Cash Handling : Proficient in handling cash and ensuring financial accuracy. • Team Collaboration : Ability to work well with your team to ensure excellent service.
