Position: Debtors Administrator A 4* hotel is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Debtors Administrator to manage the full debtors function and support the finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for collections, reconciliations, accurate processing, and maintaining strong relationships with agents and clients while ensuring compliance with financial controls and deadlines. Requirements Previous experience in a similar debtors or accounts role will be an advantage. Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail. Experience with Infor will be advantageous. Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with ACCPAC and Cashbook systems. Computer literate with strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel. Qualifications Minimum Grade 12 (Matric). Diploma or relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance will be advantageous. Certification or working knowledge of ACCPAC and Infor will be an advantage. Key Responsibilities Managed the full debtors function, including collection of outstanding accounts and maintaining required percentages for accounts older than 60 days. Performed daily banking, balancing bank deposits against system records, and reconciling banking transactions. Checked invoices to ensure correct documentation and accurate posting to the correct Accounts Receivable (AR) accounts. Issued invoices to relevant agents and companies in a timely manner. Processed daily debtor invoices, posted payments, and resolved debtor-related queries. Conducted follow-ups and telephonic collections on outstanding debtor payments. Attended weekly debtors meetings, providing updates on outstanding accounts and collections status. Prepared and reviewed debtors’ ageing reports. Generated and posted monthly debtor statements. Reconciled monthly credit card transactions. Processed travel agent commission on the system and ensured timely payments. Processed monthly cashbook transactions using ACCPAC.
