About the Role
Our client, a leading supplier of premium coffee solutions, frozen beverages, and related product ranges, is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Consultant to join their growing team. This role is focused on generating new business opportunities and building long-term customer relationships through product demonstrations, tastings, and consultative selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Conduct client visits, product demonstrations, and tastings to showcase the company’s product offerings
- Convert qualified leads into long-term customers
- Identify additional sales opportunities during client visits and market engagements
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
- Represent the company professionally and positively in the marketplace
- Conduct product tastings and demonstrations for potential customers
- Coordinate and manage free trial installations where applicable
- Follow up on trial customers and convert opportunities into sales
- Remain alert to market trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities
- Develop a strong understanding of the local trading environment and customer base
Requirements
- 3 years sales experience in Hospitality, coffee, beverage, or related industry (advantageous)
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- Good knowledge of the Pretoria market
- Ability to communicate professionally in English – Afrikaans (advantageous)
