About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales to join a luxury hotel brand with ambitious expansion plans across Sub-Saharan Africa. This pivotal role will lead the launch and ongoing sales strategy for three new lodges in Greater Kruger, as well as properties in Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Botswana, and Zambia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the launch and ongoing sales strategy for new luxury lodge openings across Africa
- Develop and execute sales plans to drive revenue growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Proven experience in luxury hotel, lodge or resort sales across Sub-Saharan Africa
- Diploma or certificate in Sales & Marketing or Hotel Management
- Exceptional writing, presentation and communication skills
- Creative thinker with a flair for original ideas and strategic planning
- Ability to lead teams, work under pressure, travel frequently, and overcome challenges
- Minimum 5 years in senior sales roles within luxury hospitality
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Sales & Marketing or Hotel Management
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary package (details: R550,000 – R650,000 per annum)
