Job Description

Were looking for an experienced and detail-driven eCommerce Photography Retoucher to join our in-house Photography Studio, based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town. This is a hands-on production role in a fast-paced studio environment, creating high-quality product imagery at scale for use across our digital channels. Youll work closely with photographers, stylists and studio leadership to deliver consistent, on-brand imagery that directly supports online sales. Alongside strong retouching skills, were looking for someone whos curious about the future of post-production – particularly the potential role of AI – and is excited to help explore how new tools could improve quality, speed and workflows over time. What Youll Be Responsible For Retouch high volumes of product photography, including colour correction, masking, background removal, clean-ups, shadows and reflections. Ensure all imagery meets defined QA standards and brand guidelines. Maintain accurate file management, naming conventions and non-destructive workflows. Manage multiple priorities and deliver consistently under tight deadlines. Collaborate closely with photographers, QA and internal stakeholders. Contribute ideas to improve studio processes and post-production efficiency. Show curiosity and initiative in exploring emerging tools and AI-driven opportunities as the studio evolves. About You You have 3 years experience retouching eCommerce product imagery. Youre highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop (selection, masking, tonal and colour correction). You understand digital photography workflows from capture to final output. Youre detail-oriented, organised and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment. Youre a team player with a positive, solutions-focused mindset. Youre interested in AI and new technology, and keen to learn and experiment as part of a growing studio. Why Join Us?
