About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven eCommerce Photography Retoucher to join our in-house Photography Studio based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality product imagery at scale for use across our digital channels. You will work closely with photographers, stylists, and studio leadership to deliver consistent, on-brand imagery that directly supports online sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Retouch high volumes of product photography, including colour correction, masking, background removal, clean-ups, shadows, and reflections.
- Ensure all imagery meets defined QA standards and brand guidelines.
- Maintain accurate file management, naming conventions, and non-destructive workflows.
- Manage multiple priorities and deliver consistently under tight deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with photographers, QA, and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute ideas to improve studio processes and post-production efficiency.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience retouching eCommerce product imagery.
- Highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop (selection, masking, tonal and colour correction).
- Understanding of digital photography workflows from capture to final output.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment.
- Team player with a positive, solutions-focused mindset.
