Join an FMCG team as a Financial & Cost Accountant in the Western Cape! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing core financial accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting annual audit and budget processes, and monitoring and reviewing financial controls to ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Additionally, youll develop and maintain costing models for operations, perform cost analysis and reporting, maintain accurate material costings and monitor cost variances, and work with operational teams to implement cost-saving measures. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance with a professional qualification (CA, SAIPA, or equivalent), at least 3 5 years experience in financial and cost accounting (preferably in FMCG or manufacturing). Previous costing experience is essential (CIMA advantageous)! Strong knowledge of MS Excel and experience with ERP systems will also be valuable.
