About the Role
Motus Autoworx, a dynamic leader in the vehicle repair industry, is seeking an honest, trustworthy, and highly responsible candidate with relevant flatting experience to join our Cape Town Speed Shop branch as a Flatter. The purpose of this role is to ensure that vehicles are flattened to achieve a quality paint finish, supporting our branch’s financial and service targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Checking all vehicles received from panel beating bay
- Checking all body parts for a smooth surface
- Spray Primer on small repairs
- Ensuring that the flatting is done correctly
- Spraying of primer on small repairs
- Maintaining a clean and tidy designated work area at all times
- Performing other duties reasonably required from time to time
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in flatting
- Grade 12 Technical Qualification – colour matching B A Journeyman
- Valid, unendorsed Code 8 drivers license (at least 2 years old)
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Technical Qualification – colour matching B A Journeyman (if applicable)
