ProStaffSelect are in search of an organised, highly professional & energetic FRESH FOODS RETAIL MANAGER that understands and appreciated “ Farm to Table Cuisine ” for this highly successful artisan bakery, deli & craft butchery Emporium The ideal candidate needs to be well presented, well spoken, creative individual who demonstrates great attention to detail, who’s excellent with minimising and managing wastage, store merchandising and a thorough understanding of sell through and buying. REQUIREMENTS × Minimum 4 years retail management experience within an artisan food / deli environment × Previous restaurant management experience essential × Tertiary qualification in Business, Merchandising or Hospitality Management × Strong verbal and written communication skills × Excellent Point of Sale Computer Software and Stock Control Management Skills × Highly computer literate in Microsoft, Excel and Outlook, with high degree of ACCURACY × Familiar with social media platforms × Strong time management attributes × A self-starter with innovative, practical and exciting ideas × Excellent attention to detail, organizational and excellent multi-tasking skills × Experience in merchandising and presentation of premium products along with highly developed customer service and selling skills. × Sales oriented, able to develop and build business. × A talent for sales and selling and a passion for organic farm produce, wines and artisanal foods × Friendly, outgoing and proactive quality traits RESPONSIBILITIES × Hire, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel, resolve problems, provide open communications and recommend discipline and termination, as appropriate × Implement company programmes and manage the operations of the Deli × Ensure compliance with safety regulations of local regulations to ensure an optimal level of service, quality, and hospitality are provided to guests × Implement, monitor, control, and report on the various components to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate supplies and staff are on hand to provide top quality customer service × Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience × Monitor and control the maintenance/ sanitation × Orders, checks, receives and controls inventory to ensure adequate proper inventory level, product quality and freshness and to prevent the sale of out of code product × Ensures cleanliness and sanitation of sales floor and work area, freezer and cooler, equipment, and retail
