Front of House Operations Manager, Upmarket Restaurant, Cape Town Reporting to: General Manager EE Requirements: None Start Date: ASAP Days & Hours of Work: Shift work, 7 days a week, trading from 8am to 10pm. Minimal Qualifications: Matric Relevant Tertiary Qualifications advantageous Minimum of 5 years in junior to middle management in an Upmarket hotel and / or Restaurant environment Cheffing experience / qualification advantageous but not required. Core strengths Required Detail Orientated Experience and knowledge of large operations, with large menus and large staff compliments Customer focus Proactive, Logical thinker Strong Understanding of COS principles and Cost Management Good wine and spirit knowledge. Own transport, and willingness to work long hours at a fast pace. A front of house showman / woman, with finesse and class, who understands theatre. There will be a strong focus on brand building this year, so candidates need to be willing to work under extreme pressure.
