About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager for a 5 Star Hotel in the Cape Town area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing high-end hotels, with a strong background in hospitality operations and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage hotel operations to achieve maximum profitability and guest satisfaction
  • Oversee all aspects of hotel management, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards

Requirements

  • 5 Star Hotel GM background with at least 8 years’ experience in managing General Manager roles in 5 Star units
  • Relevant tertiary education required (e.g. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field)

Qualifications

  • Formal tertiary education is required for this role.
