INDIAN SPECIALITY SOUS CHEF VACANCY Salary Negotiable (DOE) | Live-out Luxury Hotel | Cape Town We are seeking an experienced Indian Speciality Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef and deliver exceptional cuisine to guests in a luxury hotel setting. Key responsibilities: • Assist in daily kitchen operations and menu planning • Prepare high-quality Indian cuisine to hotel standards • Supervise, train, and mentor junior kitchen staff • Maintain strict kitchen hygiene, health & safety standards • Manage inventory, stock levels, and ingredient ordering • Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation • Collaborate on new dishes, specials, and events • Support banquets, events, and special functions Requirements: • Proven Sous Chef experience, preferably in Indian cuisine • Strong culinary skills and creativity • Leadership and team management abilities • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication and organisational skills • Flexibility for weekends, nights, and public holidays If no response is received within 10 business days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
