Hospitality Hire is recruiting a dynamic and detail-oriented Reservations Consultant to join a busy hotel in Cape Towns Front Office Department. About the Role As Reservations Consultant, you’ll be part of a high-performing central team supporting a portfolio of award-winning luxury properties. You will manage the end-to-end reservations process across multiple platforms, deliver guest-centric service, and play a key role in maximising revenue and occupancy. Key Responsibilities Reservation & Guest Management: Respond to reservation enquiries via phone, email, and online channels Process individual and group bookings with accuracy and attention to detail Maintain guest profiles and manage special requests with care Liaise with relevant departments to ensure a seamless guest experience Revenue & Channel Support: Upsell where appropriate to maximise revenue and enhance guest stays Manage OTA platforms, booking engines, and rate/channel accuracy Handle payments, deposits, amendments, and cancellations in line with policy Reporting & Communication: Prepare daily arrivals and assist in operational reporting Keep clear records of all guest correspondence and reservations Support rate updates and performance reporting as required Qualifications: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a reservations role within luxury hotels or lodges Opera, Protel, or similar property management systems preferred Strong administrative and organisational skills Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as part of a roster South African citizens only Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication High attention to detail and accuracy Warm, professional, and guest-focused Calm under pressure and able to multitask Team player with a proactive mindset Please note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
