My client is looking for Senior Software Developer, based in Cape Town (V&A Waterfront) , with a Hybrid (50%) work model. Requirements: 6 years software development experience. Strong proficiency in JavaScript , Python , FastAPI , Vue.js , AWS , Test-Driven Development , database management, and external integrations. Experience designing and building cloud-based solutions (AWS preferred). Strong understanding of backend frameworks (FastAPI essential) and modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js beneficial). Experience with architecture design, devops practices, and scalable systems. Ability to work across full stack: cloud services (Terraform Python), multiple custom front-ends (JS frameworks), Android, and Zoho Creator/Deluge. Bachelor’s degree required (no diplomas), with strong academic performance. Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience mentoring, coaching, and leading developers. Experience in test-driven development and resilient system design. Must be comfortable owning commercial outcomes, not just coding tasks.
