About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our sites, while also contributing to the overall success of our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete daily staff roll call and attendance register for shifts (morning or evening)
  • Complete the scheduling of works on the ops board and troubleshoot with Manager
  • Ensure Safety files/Job Cards/Paperwork is allocated to the Team leader and Supervisors
  • Complete site toolbox talk/Mini Hira and site 5-point checks
  • Inspect and approve site establishment setup
  • Inspect and ensure safety files and appointments have been signed
  • Enforce correct time management on site
  • Track and trace sites – daily and weekly troubleshoot measures to reduce labour and site costs
  • Practice forward planning measures including site quality control observations
  • Identify the upselling of sites when opportunities present themselves increases client service delivery
  • Drive staff motivation, company ethos, disciplines and align company procedures with employees
  • Ensure any Hired equipment is off hired timeously – report written instruction to office manager for Closure
  • Report back to office Plan and communicate to teams and sites for the next day
  • Adhoc Responsibilities: Collect all job cards, safety files, and overtime sheets when called upon
  • Manage equipment issue/returns between office
  • Ensure all equipment is in working order/report repairs and ensure equipment is washed weekly
  • Inspect and check WFPS, filters and batteries weekly (when implemented)
  • Inspect first aid boxes monthly permanent sites and road team report findings
  • Ensure implementation of site safety and procedures as per risk assessment, Lift policies
  • Attend operations meeting weekly at the office
  • Communicate any PPE/equipment queries that arise immediate response
  • Visually inspect dress code of staff and council neatness report to manager on misconduct
  • Attend to site meetings/client meetings when called upon
  • Assist in the completing of site quotes when called upon
