About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Cape Town. As a key member of our operations leadership, you will be responsible for managing stores and assembly operations, implementing and improving systems for stock control and process efficiency, and developing and sustaining production planning systems to ensure on-time, in-full delivery. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the growth and success of our manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Negotiate pricing and contracts to drive value and ensure quality
- Ensure timeous delivery of all materials and consumables
- Manage stores and assembly operations
- Implement and improve systems for stock control and process efficiency
- Analyse slow-moving or obsolete stock and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and sustain production planning systems to ensure on-time, in-full delivery
- Oversee demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory control
- Prepare and present reports to support informed decision-making
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or operations leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field (NQF 7)
- Proven track record of improving efficiency, reducing costs, and building supplier partnerships
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
